Martena Hamilton // Widows Women
I am Martena Hamilton, a widow of 14 years. I recently joined Southeast Christian Church and was amazed by their welcoming spirit, their love for Jesus and community. Earlier this year, I joined a widows group in Bullitt County. This made me realize the need for Christian widow fellowship while supporting each other and studying the Word of our amazing Savior. God has put a calling on my heart to provide a meeting place in Nelson County. I think widows can sometimes feel left out and lonely once you have lost a spouse. Just know you are not alone and are welcome to join other widows to walk through this season of life.

Philippians AM (women)
The church in Philippi was planted by the apostle Paul on his second missionary journey. This four-chapter letter is a beautiful testament to the joy we have in Christ alone. Paul wrote this letter to the Christians in the Roman colony of Philippi as an encouragement to count it all joy. In this five-week study we will gain insight into how Paul encouraged the church, talked about his own personal suffering and yet pressed on toward the goal and how that applies to Christians today. Join us in this 5 week study as we look at the history of how the church was planted, established and encouraged. On the first day of the group for $10 you will receive two books to work through. A personal homework study of Philippians as well as a Philippians journal to take personal notes alongside the letter.
