What Is Believe?

Believe is a custom-built, high-energy weekend event for middle school students. This conference includes authentic worship, creative activities, and interactive teaching from God’s word.



Event Info

Believe registration is open between November 3rd, 2019 - January 12th, 2020. Early bird is $75 from November 3rd-November 11th. Regular price is $99 November 12th-January 12th. The conference will be held at the KY International Convention Center.

The BELIEVE conference is produced by Christ In Youth (CIY), an organization based out of Joplin, Missouri that works tirelessly to help students realize the call of Christ in their lives to become Kingdom Workers. What Is Believe?

The Middle School BELIEVE Conference is Southeast Christian Church's must-attend event of the year for students in middle school. We will spend the weekend in Louisville, KY at a conference designed specifically for middle school students. The weekend will include high-energy live worship, some of the nation’s best speakers, games, interactive sessions, food, fun, and more. God’s Word will be clearly communicated through skits, musicians, artists, videos, and in a number of other ways. Everything is designed to help middle school students worship, encounter, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. This event includes a one-night stay, two days of conference sessions, and even some time to unwind with fun activities. Conference sessions will be held at the KY International Convention Center in Louisville, KY.

Frequently Asked Questions


1. Cost

The total trip cost for Believe is $99, which is due at time of registration. Early bird price option is $75.
We understand the cost of Believe is not realistic for everyone. If you need assistance funding this event, please talk to your Student Ministry Pastor at your campus.


2. What do sleeping arrangements look like?


  • Accommodations are gender-specific.
  • Each group will be supervised by 1 or 2 leaders.
  • Adults and students do not share beds.


3. What kind of supervision will there be?

Each leader will be responsible for no more than 6 students.


4. Will my student ever be off by himself/herself?

No. Students will remain with their leaders most of the time. When we are at the conference, or doing an activity, students may be given the freedom to separate from leaders while remaining in groups. Students will never be alone.


5. How do you keep track of every student?

Everyone is a part of a small group with one or more leader(s). Leaders will be responsible for guiding and taking care of 4-6 students throughout the trip.


6. What does the registration cost cover?

The registration cost includes all accommodations, meals (except Saturday lunch), activities, conference fees, and travel. However, conference merchandise and snacks are considered additional costs.


7. What type of transportation do you use?

We use buses with professional drivers.


8. How do you determine rooming assignments?

The information collected as part of the registration process will be used to help determine rooming assignments. This may include friend choices, school, and small group information. Our goal is for every student to be in a room with at least one friend.


9. How will I receive communication once my student is registered?

You will receive a confirmation email once you have fully completed registering your student. After that, campuses will send out specific information regarding the campus you registered with.


10. Where is the trip departing from?

We will be departing from the respective campus where you registered. More details on how departure works will be available once registration is complete.


11. What if my student takes medicine?

Each campus will send out instructions for you to give permission for your student’s medications.
