What do I wear?

We invite you to come as you are. There’s no dress code here. You can wear whatever you feel the most comfortable wearing; we tend to dress pretty casually.

Where can I park?

You can enter the main parking lot off of Charlestown New Albany Road. We have guest parking available to you right in front of the Portico, the building's main entrance.

What are weekend services like?

Our weekend services typically last about an hour and ten minutes. This includes singing, a message from one of our pastors, prayer, and opportunities to respond following the service.

Where can my kids (birth-5th) or students (6th-12th) go?

We have children’s programming available for birth through 5th grade during all services. On Sunday mornings, 6th-8th grade children’s programming is available at 9:30 a.m., and 9-12th grade programming is at 11:15 a.m.

Where can I find more information once I arrive?

When you enter the Atrium, look for Guest Central. Friendly volunteers are there who would be happy to answer any questions you have. You can also look for volunteers wearing “Ask Me” lanyards, who can help you with anything you need.

Who is this church for?

Southeast is open to all kinds of people! Our church family is welcoming to those who have never been part of a church, those who have never have heard of Jesus before, and those who have gone to church their whole lives. We strive to be a church for everyone, whether you’re young or old, whether you’re searching for answers or you’ve been a Christian for many years. You belong here.

We partner with moms and dads to help kids Know God and His love for them, Grow in faith and love Christ, and Show God's love to others. Our weekly children’s programs meet kids right where they are and help them to discover God and His Word on their own level. We believe our kids aren’t just the church of tomorrow—they’re the church of today!

Children love SE!Kids because our programs are fun and our volunteers take time to know every child's name and story. Parents love SE!Kids because the programs are educational, engaging, and absolutely safe.

How early can I check-in my child?

Check-in begins 20 minutes prior to service time.

This is our first time attending Southeast. What do I need to do to check in my child?

In order for your child to attend any of our children’s programming on the weekend, first-time guests will need to check in their child by filling out some brief paperwork. To save time, click here to register your children for check-in ahead of time.

What if I have more than one child?

In an effort to ensure greater security, our check-in system will assign separate security codes for each of your children. You will notice the age of each of your children followed by their security code on your security tag. Make sure you keep your security tag because you will have to show it at each room you visit to pick up your children.

What if I lose my security tag?

Anyone picking up a child must have a security tag. If you have lost your security tag, you will need to speak with a staff member and show your driver’s license to verify that you are who should be picking up the child.

What if my child’s security code appears on the screen in the Worship Center or my classroom?

If you see your child’s code displayed, we need you to come and care for your child. Please go directly to the room where you dropped off your child. A volunteer leader or staff member will meet you and let you know what your child needs. If you are unsure which room to go to, please find a staff member. SE!KIDS lanyard.

Indiana Students

Southeast (SE) Students is dedicated to helping students encounter Jesus NOW in a way that continues into their NEXT phase of life.

Whether it’s small groups, camps, events, or just hanging out, everything we do is about connecting people to Jesus and one another.

Within SE Students, there are two age specific ministries: Middle School Ministry (MSM) & High School Ministry (HSM). MSM is for 6th - 8th grade students and HSM is for 9th - 12th grade students. Each ministry has a weekly gathering with small groups. Our small groups are led by adults who are empowered and equipped to disciple students. Each adult volunteer is a member of our church and has completed specialized training to help keep students safe.

When and where do middle school students meet?

Middle School Ministry meets on Sundays from 11:15-12:25 p.m. in The Hub. When the doors open at 11 a.m., middle school students will be given an opportunity to connect with friends, play games, and prepare for the service to begin shortly after. During our program, we will open up the Bible, teach through Scripture, worship, and set up the best time of our service-small groups. After approximately 30 minutes spent in groups that are gender/grade-specific, we will wrap up at 12:25 p.m.

When and where do high school students meet?

High School Ministry meets on Sundays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in The Hub. We will enter the building through the back doors that enter directly into the Hub. When the doors open at 6:00 p.m., high school students will be given an opportunity to grab a snack, connect with friends, play games, and prepare for the service to begin shortly after. During our program, we will open up the Bible, teach through Scripture, worship, and set up the best time of our service-small groups. After approximately 40-45 minutes spent in groups that are gender/grade-specific, we will wrap up at 8:00 p.m.

How can I serve in student ministry?

Our student ministry is built on volunteers that have been equipped and empowered to disciple students. Each adult volunteer is a member of our church and has completed specialized training to help keep students safe. If you’re interested in joining our team, please click on one of the following links:

Indiana College Age

Young college-age adults gather every Sunday night in the Next Step Room of the Indiana Campus to have dinner, study the Bible, and connect with others as they build relationships with Jesus and one another. Email indiana@secc.org for additional information. Childcare is not provided.

How do I locate the Next Step Room where the College-Age Ministry meets?

Drive to the back parking lot and enter through the double glass doors into The Hub. Walk through The Hub and turn right down the hallway, where you'll immediately see the Next Step Room, which has large glass doors and a large glass window that you can't miss.

Who is welcome to attend the College-Age Ministry at the Indiana Campus?

All young men and women who are out of high school, are current college or graduate students, or have recently joined the workforce and are navigating adulthood for the first time are invited to join us!

Do I need to bring anything?

No. The meal is provided for free, and we even have Bibles if you need one. However, we do encourage you to bring your own Bible and, if you prefer, something to take notes.

What should I expect the first time I come?

Expect to meet new people and to be asked about yourself. Also, you’ll be invited to join the discussion during the Bible study and to stay afterwards to hang out and even play board games.
