What can we expect from a traditional worship service?

Our worship will be expressed through a simple, piano-led style that draws your heart to God. Our services will focus on more traditional aspects of worship, such as a call to worship, prayer, communion, sermon, and closing benediction. Come ready to listen to how God might speak to you through the worship of His glorious Name.

Who will be preaching?

As with our other campuses, most weeks we will watch our Senior Pastor, Kyle Idleman, on video and occasionally there will be other pastors and outside speakers.

When are the service times?

Service times are Sundays at 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 11:30 a.m., and average about 60-70 minutes.

Is childcare available?

Unfortunately, CIW does not have programming for children.

How should I dress?

There is no dress code for our worship services. You will likely see some attend in a suit and also some in jeans and a T-shirt. We hope you feel comfortable to come as you are!

Does CIW have a full service?

Yes! CIW has all the elements of worship as with other campuses except for baptisms. We have baptisms in the Sanctuary of our Blankenbaker Campus.

Is there overflow seating?

Our Chapel seats 400 people. Unfortunately, we have no overflow seating available.

Will I be able to attend my weekend group at the Blankenbaker Campus and a CIW service?

Yes! We have a shuttle bus at the Blankenbaker Campus Portico for transportation to CIW. After the service, the shuttle will return to the Portico.

What about parking? Is there overflow parking?

Since our parking lot only has around 145 designated spots, overflow paring is available in Parking Lot A at the Blankenbaker Campus. We provide a shuttle bus to quickly and safely transport you to the front door of CIW. There is only one shuttle available from the portico at Blankenbaker to Chapel in the Woods for all three services. Shuttle begins pick up at 7:30am under the Blankenbaker Portico.

Will there be coffee before services?

Yes! What would life be like without coffee in the morning?

Do you need volunteers to support the services?

Yes, we need volunteers to serve at our new campus! Our goal is to enlist 100 new volunteers. Please contact Stephanie Dowell (sdowell@secc.org and 502.253.8470) for more information.

Weddings

The requirements to be married at Southeast or to be married by a Southeast Minister are:

i. Complete our informational sheets (call the Marriage Ministry at 502-253-8000 for more information).

ii. Attend a 5-week pre-marital class.

iii. Participate in our marriage mentoring program.

iv. Meet with your Wedding Coordinator.

v. Meet with the Minister who will perform your ceremony.
