What is a multisite church?

In our mission of Connecting people to Jesus and one another, Southeast Christian Church has grown, multiplied, and expanded to encompass an entire region. We have multiple campuses serving the specific needs of the areas in which they are located, while receiving centralized leadership and teaching from the Blankenbaker Campus.

What should I wear?

Whether you come in a three-piece suit or jeans and a T-shirt, there is no dress code for our worship services—we just want to see you here! We only ask that your clothing choice is respectful of others regarding modesty and not distracting to anyone’s worship experience.

How early should I arrive?

We encourage you to come about 15 minutes early in order to navigate our parking, check your kids into childcare (if needed), and find a seat before the service begins.

What can I expect from a Sunday service?

You can expect to find a group of people navigating though life in pursuit of Jesus. We’re not a perfect church, but our aim is to welcome you warmly with the love of Christ. You can expect a casual atmosphere with relevant music and a message from one of our pastors that will speak to where you are and lead you in an encounter with God.

Where should I bring my children?

We have specific ministries and programs designed for all ages. Children, birth through 5th grade, have programming available to them during all of our Sunday worship services. To learn more about how you can begin the secure check-in process, visit the Connection Center in the Atrium to find a helpful volunteer who will guide you to our Children’s Ministry area.

We partner with moms and dads to help kids Know God and His love for them, Grow in faith and love Christ, and Show God’s love to others. Our weekly children’s programs meet kids right where they are and help them to discover God and His Word on their own level. We believe our kids aren’t just the church of tomorrow—they’re the church of today!

Children love SE!Kids because our programs are fun and our volunteers take time to know every child’s name and story. Parents love SE!Kids because the programs are educational, engaging, and absolutely safe.

How can I check my child into Sunday programming?

First-time families can preregister online, or just look for the First Time Check-In desk when you arrive on Sunday morning. You’ll be welcomed and introduced to our children’s environments by friendly volunteers.

What does SE!KIDS programming look like at the ET Campus?

We have environments tailored to each age group (nursery, preschool, and elementary). Preschool and elementary-age children start and finish each hour in their age group, where they are engaged in fun and learning with regular volunteers. Each service also features an age-appropriate large group worship and lesson.

How do parents stay connected?

On the first day of each month, look for a Mom & Dad Connection email. This e-newsletter updates parents on what we’re learning, upcoming big events, and fun family tips. Parents can also sign up for monthly text updates by texting SE!KIDS to 733733.

How can I serve in Children’s Ministry?

Individuals interested in serving with children must have a completed background check and verifiable attendance at Southeast of at least six months prior to working with children. Email ctharpe@secc.org for details and applications.

Can my child stay for more than one service?

If parents are serving or attending a class in addition to one of our worship services, children may stay for both services.

Southeast (SE) Students is dedicated to helping students encounter Jesus NOW in a way that continues into their NEXT phase of life.

Whether it’s small groups, camps, events, or just hanging out, everything we do is about connecting people to Jesus and one another.

Within SE Students, there are two age specific ministries: Middle School Ministry (MSM) & High School Ministry (HSM). MSM is for 6th - 8th grade students and HSM is for 9th - 12th grade students. Each ministry has a weekly gathering with small groups. Our small groups are led by adults who are empowered and equipped to disciple students. Each adult volunteer is a member of our church and has completed specialized training to help keep students safe.

When and where do middle school students meet?

Middle School Ministry meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in the Student Building. Doors for MSM are open from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Each time we gather, we’ll spend time connecting to one another through interactive worship, engaging games, Biblical teaching, and small groups that are separated by grade and gender. We look forward to helping your students get connected to Jesus and one another.

When and where do high school students meet?

High School Ministry meets on Sundays from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Student Building. Each time we gather, we’ll spend time connecting to one another through interactive worship, engaging games, Biblical teaching, and small groups that are separated by grade and gender. We look forward to helping your students get connected to Jesus and one another.

How can I serve in student ministy?

Our student ministry is built on volunteers that have been equipped and empowered to disciple students.
