What time are weekend services?

Our weekend services take place every Sunday at 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 5:00 p.m.

Is childcare available during services? Where do we take our kids?

Yes, our Children’s Ministry has programming designed just for kids during each of our weekend services. The Children’s Wing is located on the left-hand side of the building after you enter through the main entrance.

Where are the classrooms located in the building, and how can you get there?

Our classrooms are located on the far right end of the building after you come in the main entrance. In order to get there, you will walk through the Café and past the student area and the ministry offices.

How can we get more connected at the Crestwood Campus?

We’re all about Connecting people to Jesus and one another—it's our church’s mission! Look for Guest Central in the Atrium. Some friendly volunteers will be there to greet you and offer you information about upcoming events. We also have several staff members who are available to meet with you after church or for coffee during the week to talk about how you can get more connected.

We partner with moms and dads to help kids Know God and His love for them, Grow in faith and love Christ, and Show God’s love to others. Our weekly children’s programs meet kids right where they are and help them to discover God and His Word on their own level. We believe our kids aren’t just the church of tomorrow—they’re the church of today!

Children love SE!Kids because our programs are fun and our volunteers take time to know every child's name and story. Parents love SE!Kids because the programs are educational, engaging, and absolutely safe.

Frequently Asked Questions: SE!KIDS

This is our first time attending Southeast. What do I need to do to check in my child?

In order for your child to attend any of our children’s programming on the weekend, first-time guests will need to check in their child by filling out some brief paperwork. The Crestwood Campus offers First-Time Guest check-in inside the Atrium, through our main entrance. To save time, register your children for check-in ahead of time.

How and when can I check my child in?

In order for your child to attend any of our weekend programming, you will need to visit one of the Children’s Ministry Check-in Kiosks. Check-in begins 20 minutes prior to the service time. If you are checking in more than one child, you will be able to check all of your children in at one time.

Each weekend a trained volunteer will assist you in checking in your child. Please be sure to tell the volunteer if your child is planning to stay for more than one hour. Your child will be given a room assignment and security/check-in tags. The tag will include a 3-digit security code. This 3-digit code will be displayed on screen in worship and classrooms if you are needed during service. Place one tag on your child’s shirt, and drop your child off at their designated room, where a volunteer will verify the correct room using an attendance iPod. Remember to keep the other security tag. You will need that tag to pick up your child after service.

What security is there for my child?

The safety of your child while in our care is of great importance to us. To help ensure the safety of each child, only trained SE!KIDS volunteers are permitted to serve in rooms with children. All volunteers go through a screening process that includes background checks, references, and safety/security training.

What is there for my nursery, preschool, or elementary-age child?

We seek to partner with families to plant and water eternal seeds in the hearts of our children. We believe that God has designed the family to be the centerpiece for growing our children in faith, and provide simple AT-HOME resources to equip families to discover God’s Word together.

Our volunteers in weekend ministry build on what children have first learned at home. We engage children of all ages through dynamic Biblical storytelling, hands-on responses, and fun, relational small groups. We seek to provide environments where children can encounter God through worship, prayer, community, and more. We do this as we journey through the entire story of God together, discovering God as the central character of each Biblical story, and the story of our lives today.

Many of our Small Group leaders serve weekly so as to build ongoing relationship with children and families. We encourage each family to register into a SE!KIDS Weekend Small Group by choosing their most attended hour. This helps children form a meaningful connection to trusted adults and a group of peers in the church.

What if my child has a disability?

The Crestwood Campus provides a ministry to children with specialized needs in preschool-5th grade. Trained volunteers come alongside families to provide personalized care for each child while they enjoy weekend ministry. We also offer a dedicated Sensory Room during select service times for children who benefit from a specialized environment. For more information, contact sekidscw@secc.org.

How do I serve in Children

We believe serving in the church is both a privilege and an act of worship. Through volunteering, we are able to fellowship with our church family, grow spiritually, and help others connect to Jesus and one another.

Crestwood Students

Southeast (SE) Students is dedicated to helping students encounter Jesus NOW in a way that continues into their NEXT phase of life.

Whether it’s small groups, camps, events, or just hanging out, everything we do is about connecting people to Jesus and one another.

Within SE Students, there are two age specific ministries: Middle School Ministry (MSM) & High School Ministry (HSM). MSM is for 6th - 8th grade students and HSM is for 9th - 12th grade students. Each ministry has a weekly gathering with small groups. Our small groups are led by adults who are empowered and equipped to disciple students. Each adult volunteer is a member of our church and has completed specialized training to help keep students safe.

When and where do high school students meet?

High School Ministry meets 5:00-6:30 pm Sundays in Student Ministry Center. Email cvankhook@secc.org to find out what home your student is in. All HSM gathers for a worship night once a month at the Crestwood Campus. We have a freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior home. In each home, your student will find awesome community, international adult leaders, and Bible teaching! We would love for your students to join!

When and where do middle school students meet?

Middle School Ministry meets at 11:15am Sundays in Student Ministry Center. On Sunday mornings, your students will be able to experience a middle school service geared specifically towards them! Your student will hear solid Biblical teaching, play some crazy games, and have small group time with other students of the same grade and gender. Our groups are led by our amazing adult leaders. So, grab a doughnut at the front door and come on out to MSM!
