Tradition holds that in the 5th century, Ezra the scribe and the 120 elders of the Great Assembly created an annual reading schedule in which the Torah could be read in one year. They divided the Torah , the first 5 books of the Bible, into sections and read one each Sabbath. Our study is following the ancient Jewish tradition of reading and studying The Torah using the Parashah Cycle. August 6th we will resume our study with Exodus 10:1-13:16. We would love to have you join our study group.
